According to Oriental medicine, dried ginger has a spicy taste and mild properties; into the heart, spleen, lungs and stomach meridians. Has the effect of warming and dispelling cold, restoring yang and clearing blood vessels. Used for chest and abdominal pain due to cold; vomiting, diarrhea; cold hands and feet, weak pulse, in addition to being an antidote to male sperm and erectile dysfunction. Dosage and usage: 3 - 10g; decoct, cook, stew, powder

The substances in ginger have antipyretic, analgesic and cough relieving effects, are anti-inflammatory, stimulate digestion and have immune activity.

Health benefits of dry ginger Is chukku or sukku  the same as fresh ginger?
