Lemon Trees in Vietnam

Lemon trees are adaptable plants that can thrive in many regions. However, in the South of Vietnam, there's a particular province renowned for its extensive lemon cultivation. VINALOTUS collaborates with farmers in this region to purchase lemons directly from the largest cultivation area in the country.

With over 11,500 hectares dedicated to lemon cultivation, this province produces more than 150,000 tons of lemons annually, boasting an average productivity of 16 tons per hectare. Over 80% of the lemon production from this region is exported to demanding markets like the EU, Middle Eastern countries, China, and other parts of Asia. 

The province's favorable, cool climate and geographical location, combined with the farmers' professional cultivation techniques, result in plump, firm, seedless lemons with thick, juicy segments. The lemons' skin is a deep, glossy green, evenly colored, and has a higher concentration of oil glands compared to lemons grown elsewhere.
